Rosalind Freeborn was inspired to write her debut novel, Prince George & Master Frederick after researching her grandmother’s claim that there was a family connection with King George III. The story she uncovered was so astonishing that she was compelled to write this book.

Discover the remarkable story of Frederick Blomberg, believed by Rosalind to be the secret son of King George III, who was adopted by King George and Queen Charlotte. Young Frederick was brought up within the royal household at Richmond and Kew where he developed a friendship with Prince George, the future regent and King George IV. They were royal friends and secret brothers.

You will also learn about Henrietta Cotesworth, Deputy Governess to the royal children, who became Frederick’s guardian as he grew up and, after her death in 1781, was buried in St Anne’s, Kew.

Rosalind Freeborn began her career as a book publicist and went on to promote the London Philharmonic Orchestra, charities such as Great Ormond Street Hospital and several high profile arts events including the London Design Festival. She is also an artist specialising in paper collage and exhibits and sells her work regularly. She lives in north London, is married and has four grown-up daughters.
