Annual General Meeting 2020
Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of The Friends of St Anne’s Church, Kew, will be held virtually on Saturday 27 June 2020 at 11 a.m.
This year’s AGM will be held as a Zoom meeting. Details of how to join will be sent to all members by email. Members for whom we do not hold an up-to-date e-mail address will receive this notice by post; please provide an e-mail address to the Membership Secretary at if you wish to participate. We regret that circumstances are forcing us to hold the meeting in this manner, to comply with existing government restrictions, and that therefore members without internet access will not be able to attend. If such members have any questions they would like raised at the meeting, please notify the Secretary below and we will endeavour to deal with them.
At the AGM the Executive Committee will report on activities and events which took place in 2019-2020 and present the annual accounts. The AGM will also elect the Committee and officers of the charity for the next twelve months. An agenda follows.
AGENDA
1. Apologies for absence.
2. Minutes of the AGM held on 8 June 2019 and any matters arising therefrom.
3. Election of officers and the Executive Committee
a. Lorraine Neale (Chair), Simon Mollett (Treasurer) and Benjamin Jones (Secretary) have agreed to stand for election;
b. Wendy Booth, Paul Booth, Belinda Pethick, Gemma Roundell and Phyllis Cunningham have agreed to stand for election in the category “elected representatives”.
Nominations for any of the above positions are invited and should be in the hands of the Secretary by 13 June. Nominations require a proposer and the agreement of the nominee to serve. A nomination form is attached. If there are more nominations than vacancies (elected representatives are limited to 6), then a ballot will be held.
4. Report and accounts covering the work and activities of the charity for the period 6 April 2019 to 5 April 2020 (attached hereto).
5. Any other business.
